USA ADVENTURES
Our very first trip to the USA was a business trip however I was fortunate enough to be able to take my wife along and make a bit of a holiday out of it as well. We were ever so grateful to Ham radio operators up and down California for their hospitality and generousity (especially lending us a car for a few days!! We drive on the left in New Zealand ) |

| So, braving the traffic and freeways, one of our stops was Sea World, California and then by bus down to Tijuana, Mexico. This was quite a new experience for us beacuse we do not have a Seaworld or a Zoo in New Zealand anywhere near this size !! | |

We have some very pretty and unusual
birds here in New Zealand but these Flamingos sure did make a pretty sight.

| On our second trip to the States we were able to take our children (teenagers at the time) with us and they were keen to get to Disneyland in California. So a very enjoyable two days were spent there just having fun.!! | |
